Colombian Fintech eyes Uganda in major expansion
The firm says it has supported building real-time payment networks across Latin America and aims to address key challenges in Uganda’s financial ecosystem, including low financial inclusion, heavy cash reliance, and outdated, non-interoperable payment systems.

Colombian fintech startup, Minka, has announced plans to start operations in Uganda following similar arrangements in other regional markets including Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Malawi, Zambia, Burundi, and Mozambique.
Founded
