MTN restores 50 Hectares of Forest Cover in Ogera Hills Central Forest Reserve as it Further Deepens its Roots in Uganda

MTN has today commenced the restoration of 50 hectares of forest cover in Ogera Hills Central Forest Reserve in Serere district.The reforestation drive is part of MTN’s “Uganda is Home” campaign.Under this project, MTN will restore 220 hectares of forest countrywide as a symbolic deepening of its relationship and roots in Uganda.According to National Forestry Authority, MTN’s forest restoration drive remains one of the single biggest investments into reforestation by any corporate organization so far.
