Lubiri Secondary School has made interesting achievements. Its infrastructure has been boosted with a perimeter wall and a breathtaking girls’ dormitory. Also noticeable is a deep sense of discipline, unity and commitment of the staff and students. These and other accomplishments were highlighted during the school’s thanksgiving celebration at the school in Rubaga division last Wednesday.

The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, Dr Samuel Stephen Kaziimba, appreciated the school’s fraternity for acknowledging the hand of God in their achievements. “It is God who gives us life, wisdom and energy to work. He must have all the praise.” The prelate’s special message to the students was: “Be careful about people pushing their evil agendas. Don’t be fl attered by people who want to divert you. Be satisfi ed with what you are. Don’t ruin your life by taking drugs, alcohol or cigarettes. Trust in God. Have a personal relationship with Jesus.”
