Nile University in Arua city has graduated over 64 students who completed various academic disciplines.

Urban development state minister Mario Obiga Kania, who represented Vice President Jessica Alupo at the graduation ceremony on May 9, 2025, challenged both the university management and graduates to learn from their challenges and find lasting solutions.

Kania stated that every success begins with a challenge, urging the management of Nile University never to give up but to seek remedies to the issues facing the institution.



He noted that Uganda has a large number of untapped youth potential, with over one million young people coming from the West Nile region.

Dr Alfred Olar, the Acting Vice Chancellor of Nile University, said the graduating students have played a key role in attracting more learners to the institution.

Grace Tangaza, a graduate in Business Administration, said she intends to apply her knowledge practically to improve her life.

Albert Atama, a graduate of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Management, noted that education can lead to success if well utilised.
