Almorie Naggayi from Aga Khan High School emerged as the winner of the prestigious Miss Uganda High School Queen (MUHS) and Multimedia Princess pageant.
This groundbreaking event, organised by the Academy of Queens, aimed to empower young women and provide them with a platform to showcase their leadership skills.
Under the visionary leadership of Miss Uganda CEO Brenda Nanyonjo, the pageant went beyond being a mere beauty competition. It served as a transformative leadership programme, focusing on instilling confidence, developing essential skills, and nurturing a visionary mindset in the participating young women.

The journey to the crown was not an easy one. After a series of auditions, the selected participants embarked on a 10-day non-residential leadership and life skills boot camp.
This immersive experience honed their leadership abilities, emphasising the importance of community engagement and academic excellence.
The grand finale, held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Motiv in Industrial Area, Kampala, was a true spectacle.

Naggayi secured school fees for three terms, an internship at a media hub, and a holiday in Zanzibar. This remarkable achievement stands as a testament to Naggayi's commitment to leadership, community service, and academic excellence.
Alongside Naggayi, other noteworthy participants were also recognised for their exceptional achievements.
Melissa Mulungi Atim from St. Peters SS Natalya was crowned MUHS 1st Princess, Talent Princess, and Sports and Fitness Princess.
Ruth Nadia Kezza from Friends International Christian Academy was named MUHS 2nd Princess, while Jocelyne Leru from Crested Secondary School was awarded the title of MUHS 3rd Princess.
Anna Amia Wandera from Rubaga Girls SS was named MUHS Photogenic Princess, and Milfat Mucurezi from Faiha High School was appointed as the MUHS President for the Class of 2024.
All finalists, in addition to their titles, received school supplies and gained free access to future Miss Uganda and Academy of Queens events.
They were also designated as Miss Uganda High School Ambassadors in their respective schools, furthering the mission of empowering young women and inspiring positive change within their communities.
The Miss Uganda High School Queen and Multimedia Princess pageant not only highlighted the immense talent and beauty of these young women, but also served as a reminder of the importance of empowering and uplifting the youth.
