Double joy for Fresh Family: Fresh Kid completes PLE, Fresh Daddy finds new love

It is double joy for the Fresh Family. No sooner had Fresh Kid (Patrick Ssenyonjo) completed his PLE (Primary Leaving Examinations) than his father, Fresh Daddy (Mutabazi Paul), revealed that he had found new love.

Fresh Daddy says he has finally found love after ten years of being single since his separation from Madrine Namata, Fresh Kid’s mother.

In an emotional interview at a restaurant near his home in Ntinda, Fresh Daddy shared that he met the love of his life, Maureen Ninshaba, after years of struggling to find love.

According to Fresh Daddy, Ninshaba was initially hired to tutor his son, Fresh Kid, in Mathematics. She began teaching him from their home, often staying late, and eventually started spending the nights.

Over time, Fresh Daddy was captivated by her beauty, and as they say, the rest is history. Ninshaba only “coached” Fresh Kid but she is not his teacher at Kampala Parents School.

“Maureen is Fresh Kid’s Mathematics teacher. I hired her to tutor him at home,” Fresh Daddy introduces her. He explains that Ninshaba went beyond merely teaching Fresh Kid and also took care of him, which impressed her employer, Fresh Daddy.

“I am a single father, without a househelp, and she always helped in caring for my son. After teaching him, she would wash his clothes, cook for us, clean the house, wash my clothes, and even handle some food shopping. She loved my son like a mother,” says Fresh Daddy.

That was what won his heart. So, whenever Ninshaba finished the teaching and home chores late, she spent the night. “That’s when I truly noticed her beauty,” says Fresh Daddy.

“I expressed my feelings and she accepted my love. It was easy because she was also single,” he reveals. Now, he says, the couple is cohabiting.

Wedding plans are already in high gear. According to Fresh Daddy, he is going to visit her parents in Mbarara early next year. “My son knows about our relationship,” he says.

Ninshaba, 23, says she is ready to settle down with Fresh Daddy. "I was tired of being heartbroken by 'smart wires’ who just tried their luck with me and immediately ran off with other women. Now I have a mature man who is also ready for a serious relationship,” says Ninshaba. She says it is neither his fame nor money she is after, but care and love. “I have a good relationship with Fresh Kid, and he is my friend. They are both lovable and understanding people,” she says. She also says that she has “been with Paul for nine months now and things are going well.”

Parent-teacher relationships are nothing new, although some attract controversy.
