Gospel singer Sinach to visit Uganda Cancer Institute

Internationally acclaimed Nigerian gospel singer Osinachi Kalu-Egbu — popularly known as Sinach will be back in Uganda.  

She will be performing live in Kampala for a charity concert on the 8th September 2023 at Lugogo Hockey Grounds.

Ahead of her performance, the award-winning musical artist of “I know who I am” fame is expected to visit the Uganda cancer institute.

The singer has written more than 200 songs including ‘Awesome God’, ‘Simply Devoted’, ‘I am Ready for Your Spirit’, ‘Shout of the King’, ‘All Things are possible’, ‘Born to Win’ among others.

The 51-year-old, was last in Kampala for the I Know Who I am concert in 2015 at the Rubaga Miracle centre and was welcomed by Pastor Robert and Jessica Kayanja of the Lubaga Miracle Center.

Sinach is the first singer-songwriter to top the Billboard Christian Songwriter chart for 12 weeks in a row with her song "Way Maker" which received three nominations and won the Song of the Year at the 51st GMA Dove Awards.

This made her the first Nigerian to win the Award win the BMI song of the year, and in 2021 was recognized by the US Congress while on tour in the United States of America.

Sinach has so far released 9 studio albums with several other hit songs, including "I Know Who I Am", "Great Are You Lord", "Rejoice", "He Did It Again", "Precious Jesus", "The Name of Jesus", "This Is My Season", "Awesome God", "For This", "I Stand Amazed", "Simply Devoted" and "Jesus is Alive.
