Celebrated city bachelor, Pastor Wilson Bugembe, gets goosebumps when approached by plus-size women, he has said.
The senior pastor at Worship House Church in Nansana, in Wakiso District, made the revelation during an interview.
He was answering to the age-old question of when he plans to end his bachelorhood.
“I am a small man of God, so naturally I fear big-sized women,” the diminutive pastor said amidst cryptic laughter.
“I don’t know how I would manage a woman bigger than me,” he added.
The “small man of God”, however, narrated how he almost got lucky in the past.
“I’m not too important to be rejected by a woman. I was once rejected by the lady I wanted to marry. I didn’t match her expectations. She didn’t want a musician or a pastor, and I happened to be both”, Bugembe says.
For him, the only quality that matters is not body size.
“My wife should be deeply rooted in faith and have a strong relationship with God. I desire a wife who is compassionate, loving, and genuinely cares for others. As a pastor and gospel artiste, I want a partner who understands and supports my ministry. She should also be humble. A humble woman remains calm in any situation, and is easy to understand and to handle. She should be a woman who values family,” he says.
The good pastor also said that he is not infuriated by the body of followers which demands that he marries soon.
“I will not get tired of people asking me when I will get married. It means they wish me well. They think it is the right time for me. They wonder how I manage to live without a partner,” he says.
