Thursday night was a vibrant celebration of talent as party lovers and music industry elites gathered to honour Joshua Baraka. The rising star has earned a coveted nomination in the Best Eastern African Artist category at the highly anticipated Trace Awards & Summit 2024, set for February 26 in Zanzibar.
Held at the upscale Noni Vie in Kampala, the exclusive Trace Awards City Tour event brought together Uganda’s entertainment powerhouses, influencers, music executives, corporate leaders, and media personalities. The night was a perfect blend of music, premium whisky cocktails and insightful industry discussions, all in tribute to Baraka’s meteoric rise.

The atmosphere was electric, with DJ Kas Baby on the decks, keeping the energy high with dynamic mixes. The real magic unfolded when he spun an exclusive Joshua Baraka set, sending the crowd into a euphoric frenzy as they sang along to his biggest hits.
