During the three-day RIOT (Righteous Invasion of Truth) conference at Miracle Centre Cathedral on Saturday, December 16, Robert Kayanja junior and his father-in-law, pastor Arvis Gailis, obeyed the command from Jesus to welcome new disciples to the Christian faith.
Hundreds of converts braved the scorching sun for more than three hours as Kayanja Junior preached and educated them on who God is, how to earn money and use it wisely.
Among the baptised was Marlena Gailis, the wife of Robert Kayanja junior.

In the earlier days of the conference, senior pastor Robert Kayanja said there is an urgent need to revive the Karamoja cry initiative.
“We are reviving the Karamoja cry bucket initiative because discovered a new village of 500 families with malnourished children. These families need our urgent attention,” Kayanja said.

He noted that this week, the church will flag off two trailers of food consignment to Karamoja.
“Majority of us eat food and leave it on the plates, but there is a soul out there that is starving to death. With your small contribution, you can feed a family for some time,” Kayanja said.
He also noted that next year, the church will embark on the construction of a multimillion development centre.
“We are going to construct a science development centre here at the church. We shall have incubators and other facilities that will educate us more about science,” Kayanja said, adding that he was inspired by what youth were doing during the riot conference 23.
