The crowning of Miss Bunyoro 2024/25 is set for today (Saturday) with seven contestants at Hoima Bufalo Hotel in Hoima city.
The contestants are drawn from Kagadi, Masindi, Buliisa, Kikuube, Kakumiro, Hoima and Hoima City.
Aggrey Valen Rwahwire, the chief executive officer of the Miss Bunyoro Foundation revealed that the winner of the 14th edition of the beauty pageant competitions will take a prize worth one million shillings.
Rwahwire says that this year’s competitions have been held to unite all tribes in Bunyoro to develop the Kingdom.
Asked about her achievements, Stella Kobusinge, the reigning Miss Bunyoro of 2023/24 said that the crown helped her to develop different skills and also become a good leader.
