Kenneth Andama, an ICT student at Lugogo Vocational Training Institute in Kampala, said he would start a business, buy land and pay tuition.
“I would start up a mobile money business with sh1.5m, look for a small piece of land of sh2m and also pay my final semester tuition in order to graduate,” he said.
Joel Mubale, a bodaboda rider in Industrial Area, Kampala said he would invest his money in produce.
“I can buy some maize, some beans, groundnuts and cowpeas in bulk and then resell them and get a profit."
Sophia Muhayeki, a street vendor dealing in bananas, said she would start up a restaurant.
“I would use the money to buy everything necessary to start a restaurant. It would be a dream come true," she said smiling.
Jane Awor, her fellow banana vendor, said she would thank God for coming through for her, then switch from vending bananas to a small boutique for baby’s clothes.
