Nina Roz has what I want in a woman unlike Katatumba - Daddy Andre

It seems like music producer Daddy Andre and singer Nina Roz are back together.  The two are often seen exchanging sweet nothings during the Uganda National Musicians Federation meetings in Mutundwe, Kampala. 

In an interview on Thursday, May 23, on Vibe Mix show on Bukedde TV2, which airs from Monday to Friday at 3:00pm to 4:00pm, Andre stated that he will never chuck Nina, saying she has whatever he wants in a woman unlike his ex-girlfriend, Angella Katatumba.

Andrew, real name Andrew Ojambo, revealed that Nina knows how to play her role as a woman in the bedroom, having been trained by her ssenga (her father's sister).

"She is such an attractive and well spiced lady that any man would admire to have in his life," Andre said. "I swear to God I will never leave or separate with Nina. We have a lot in common, unlike Katatumba. I found all I wanted in Nina Roz. It’s very difficult to chuck a person that you have ever truly loved in your whole life like I did Nina."  

Within five months after ending things with Angella, Daddy Andre held a pre-introduction ceremony (kukyala) with Nina Roz at her parents in Kireka, Wakiso on October 23, 2020. The ceremony was meant to be secret, but the photos were leaked to social media by someone who attended the function. The two were forced to acknowledge their relationship.

In later interviews, Nina Roz said she regretted going public about her relationship with Daddy Andre. She believes it put so much pressure on them, which later led to the end of their relationship despite the two having legalised it with an introduction ceremony.

Earlier on March 23, 2020,  Katatumba had publicly disclosed that despite Daddy Andre showering her with love, she decided to call off their relationship when he refused to do the HIV test. She also boasts of not being able to cook.

"Our case with Angella is different. Nina and I loved each other from childhood. She  took time to understand me well and perfected her love and care for me unlike Angella. More so, I have never come out and publicly stated that Nina and I separated," Andre said.

He disclosed plans to produce music for her.

"When it comes to music, I have a set of plans for her since I am her song writer and composer. The moment I touch her beats, we make a hit, which is difficult with other music partners. From late 2012, Nina and I have been separating and coming back together, so do not expect us to separate at this juncture. I advise people to leave our personal lives and concentrate on the music we give to them. We are fine and we work together. Music unites us, even if  have any other problem. I respect Nina so much and she has a special position in my heart," Andre said.

When we interviewed Nina Roz after their release of their video project in June 29, 2023, she  pretended not to have any affair with Daddy Andre.

She said they are connected by work only and they keep it professional.

“Time has helped us figure out what each of us wants. For now, it's music for real. I didn't know what was right at that time. I don't want to blame anyone. I was just healing from depression. I was looking for solace, a place that's safe, where I can be with a person that I can trust with my career, with my life and my dreams! In our world, you can't manage on your own, you need a support system. We deal with a lot of people whose intentions we don't know. The heart wants what it wants, that’s what it wanted by then. That's what I wanted. That's who I really wanted; I am not going to say I wasn't proud of it all. He was a good person regardless. When I was with Andre, he taught me a lot. He prepared me to be the woman you are seeing today. Andre and I are open to working together since he has magic in his touch," Nina said.
