Okello Okello celebrates 10 years in comedy

The National Theatre was filled with laughter and joy on March 1 as stand-up  Joshua Okello, popularly known as Okello Okello, celebrated ten years in the comedy industry.

The event, dubbed Comedy Black Friday, was a night to remember as Okello Okello showcased his talent alongside other local comedians such as Patrick Salvado Idringi  and Kalela, as well as comedians from different parts of East Africa.

Okello Okello, who started his comedy platform in 2019, has been hosting the Comedy Black Friday event every three months, bringing together comedy lovers from all walks of life. His unique style of comedy, which is both witty and relatable, has earned him a loyal fan base over the years.

"I can't believe it's been 10years already," Okello Okello said during his performance. "I am grateful for the support of my fans and fellow comedians who have been with me on this journey. Here's to many more years of laughter and joy!"

The audience erupted into applause as Okello Okello continued to entertain them with his hilarious jokes and anecdotes. The atmosphere was electric as everyone in the theatre was caught up in the infectious energy of the event.
