Sauti Canvas season two culminated in a spectacular finale, with Parton Musimenta emerging after captivating the audience with a mesmerising performance of I Will Be There by Bebe Rexha.
Musimenta's mastery of miming and stage presence left a lasting impression, earning her the coveted title. The grand finale happened at Motiv warehouse in Industrial Area on Thursday, May 30, 2024.
Sauti Canvas, an initiative by Reach A Hand Uganda (RAHU), serves as a beacon of empowerment for young talents, using music as a vehicle for positive change.
This innovative platform intertwines various elements such as talent, sexual and reproductive health, youth livelihood, and economic empowerment.
Under the theme of Tap My Untapped Potential, Sauti Canvas season 2 aimed to challenge biases surrounding persons with disabilities in the music and arts scene.
By spotlighting the skills and talents of individuals with disabilities, the initiative sought to break barriers and showcase the richness of diversity within Uganda's artistic community.
The journey to the finale saw regional auditions spanning the north, east, west, and central regions of Uganda. Participants showcased their prowess in dance, vocals, and instrumental performances, highlighting the depth of talent present across the country.
The top three finalists were appointed as cultural icons and disability inclusion ambassadors for RAHU, gaining exclusive access to industry events and initiatives. Each winner was not only awarded a cash prize, but also received mentorship opportunities and gift hampers.
The prize distribution was as follows; Parton Musimenta (overall winner) received sh 2.5m, Florence Nabukenya (first runner-up) awarded sh1.5m and Mary Chris Kirabo (second runner-up) took home sh1m.

The event was graced by celebrities such as Eddy Kenzo, VJ Junior, Daxx Kartel, Babaluku.
