You wouldn’t normally expect the words piano and rave to belong in the same sentence. While piano keys evoke harmony and finesse, a rave conjures images of wild, uninhibited energy.

Yet, at Kololo’s Namaste last weekend, the two collided in spectacular fashion.

The event brought together a stellar lineup, including the talented Biri Marung, Ego Slimflow, and Pilato. Charismatic MCs Costner and Nana kept the energy high and the crowd fully engaged throughout the night.

One of the standout moments came from the X FM Addicts, whose electric performance left the audience craving more. The stage itself was a visual masterpiece—vibrantly lit and adorned with X FM logos and dynamic designs that enhanced the night’s pulsating atmosphere.

The musical journey began at midnight with DJ Drucy, who had the crowd dancing non-stop until 1:30 a.m. He was followed by DJ Tus featuring MC Asha Shi. DJ Denzel then took over, joined on stage by MC Maf Eazi, further amping up the vibe.

The night hit its climax during the long and intoxicating Amapiano session from 4:00 to 7:05 a.m., led by DJ Emma UG. DJ Cisse followed, ensuring the energy remained sky-high until the very end.

Overall, the Piano Rave at Namaste was a massive success—an exhilarating fusion of rhythm, energy, and artistry that showcased the dynamism of Uganda’s music scene. Attendees left with unforgettable memories and a yearning for more nights filled with good music, vibrant company, and unforgettable performances.
