Spotify has released its annual list of the most-streamed Ugandan artists for 2024, highlighting the vibrant music scene and the talents of Azawi, Vinka, Elijah Kitaka, Winnie Nwagi, and Joshua Baraka.

Spotify, founded on April 23, 2006, by Daniel Ek and Martin Lorentzon, is a Swedish audio streaming and media service provider. As of September 2024, it ranks among the largest music streaming platforms worldwide, boasting over 640 million monthly active users, including 252 million paying subscribers.

The platform provides access to over 100 million songs and 6 million podcast titles from record labels and media companies.
