Zafaran, also known as Josephine Nakyoonyi, the new songstress from Swangz Avenue, has showered praise on Mbarara-based singer T-Paul, real name Paul Taremwa following their collaboration on the new release Enafuya, a fusion of Runyankore, Luganda, and English.

Reflecting on their collaboration, Zafaran highlighted T-Paul's extensive repertoire of songs that have gained popularity in western Uganda and beyond.

"I took my time to understand his music. He has so many good songs and a great fanbase. So, after looking at all these, I decided to work with him, and I am glad that the song is doing great," she stated.

Zafaran described working with T-Paul as effortless as he already knew what he could deliver, having met her previously.

Looking ahead, Zafaran disclosed plans for numerous collaborations across the country this year to expand her reach and build a larger fanbase.

Regarding the release of an album in 2024, she indicated a focus on singles for now, with aspirations to gain more experience before considering an Extended Play or an album.

Known for her hits such as Jeguli, Ankuba, Nakawere and Sweetheart, Zafaran joins forces with T-Paul, who is also recognised for songs such as Nkunda Iwe, Ababedde and Hweza featuring Emily Kikazi.
