Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) president Eddy Kenzo has given his two cents on the trending video on social media showing a seemingly zonked Weasel at Alien Skin’s home in Makindye, Kampala, where he went to seek a collaboration.
During an interview at singer Ray G's concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval, Kampala on May 10, Kenzo opined that Weasel never recovered since the death of his GoodLyfe partner, Mowzey Radio, in 2018.
"He and Radio were a duo. They worked together for years and lived in the same house, doing each and every thing together. We, as the federation, are going to find ways of helping him," he said.
UNMF recently launched a campaign under the theme Empowering Minds to break the silence surrounding mental health with the support of officials from the Ministry of Health.
On the contrary, Kenzo expressed gratefulness to the people who recorded the video.
"That clip has showed people how deeply Weasel needs support to go all through his passing on," Kenzo said.
Pallaso, Weasel's brother, in an interview with journalists, said as a family, they are trying to help Weasel recover from the loss of his friend, Mowzey.
"It’s the biggest problem he is facing now. He is missing the moments he had with Radio. It’s understandable “ Pallaso said.
