Weasel to make 39th birthday celebrations countrywide

The friends and family of singer Weasel surprised him with a birthday party on Thursday night, June 13, 2024, at the home of GoodLyfe Crew in Kizungu zone, village, Makindye, a city suburb.

There was roasted goat, chicken and pizza, among other foods. The guests, including his brothers Jose Chameleone and Pallaso, enjoyed drinks accompanied by dancing to mark the milestone until morning. 

 In an interview, Weasel expressed appreciation upon reaching the new age.

"I am 39 years old. Happy birthday to me! I have entered a new year. I have crossed into the age bracket of real men. I am doing very well, and I am gaining more life experience and undergoing significant changes. Unlike women who hide their age, men see age as a form of wealth. The more years you accumulate, the more knowledge and gratitude you have. As a man, aging also correlates with financial success, so we should remain positive," he said.

Weasel thanked God for his fiancee, children, friends, parents  and siblings.

"It's a blessing to have grown older alongside my children, which makes me a responsible man with many responsibilities ahead," he said.

Weasel noted that the birthday brings back memories of celebrating with his friend, late singer Mowzey Radio and performing together in various venues.

"I dedicate this birthday to him. I promise my fans and all lovers of good music that I will never disappoint them. I have exciting new projects lined up, which I will release soon after the concert at Hotel Africana on August 9. I pledge to keep the shine on Goodlyfe music," Weasel said.

He disclosed that the birthday festivities will be taken to other places around the country and nearby countries to "celebrate with my fans."

"As you know, the Mayanja family parties for a whole month. This was just a family party with a few close friends around. My loyal supporters should know that we will be visiting different clubs around Uganda until August," Weasel said. 

He also revealed that he had finally found the hard disk containing GoodLyfe's lost songs.

"It contains over 1,000 songs and I will gradually release them. Fans should expect a lot of music," Weasel said.

His mother, Proscovia Musoke Mayanja, appreciated his friends for loving her. 

"I appreciate all of you who have come in large numbers to celebrate my son Weasel. Thank you so much for that love. May you keep it up. We also love you. May you please extend it to the rest of the members of the family. God bless you all. I have a few words since I am excited," she said.
