Why Grace Khan cancelled May concert

Grace Khan expressed gratitude to Jovan Luzinda for standing with her in difficult times, which were believed to have been fanned by the breakup with singer Prince Omar, the father of her daughter.

The 'Wakyuka' singer, whose real name is Grace Namuwulya, cancelled the event in April without giving any clear reasons.

Jovan Luzinda has revealed the reason why his colleague, Grace Khan, cancelled her concert which was supposed to take place at Climax Entertainment Hub in Makindye, Kampala on May 19, 2024.

The Wakyuka singer, whose real name is Grace Namuwulya, cancelled the event in April without giving any clear reasons.

Jovan revealed that she was battling mental health challenges.

He said at one point, Grace had to be taken to one rehabiliation centre, but there was no improvement.

Jovan stated that they had to take her to another treatment centre, where she was able to  recover.

He said she is now better and called upon her fans to support her musically again

Speaking in an interview on Bukedde TV on June 4,  Grace disclosed that she is  reformed and building a new brand that will represent for the rest of her life. She referred to Jovan as a good friend and real person.

She expressed gratitude to him for standing with her in difficult times, which were believed to have been fanned by the breakup with singer Prince Omar, the father of her daughter.

With her relationship with singer Prince Omar seemingly over, Grace once appeared in a video which circulated on social media crying out for help and noted that she was going through alot.

"He will always be my baby daddy and I have to move on with life," she said.

The two have a child together.
