KAMPALA - Medics at the Ministry of Health and Makerere University have announced a new era of hope for the anaemic and critically ill patients in need of blood in the country.
In a news conference Monday (February 12, 2024) at Uganda Media Centre in Kampala, they disclosed that thousands of world experts in blood transfusion are set to meet in the country next month to deliberate on some of the best practices and lessons in making blood available to the population.
