KAMPALA - In his message to Muslims during Eid al-Adha prayers at Old Kampala National Mosque, Sheikh Imran Ssali cautioned all Muslims to give to people in need as well as respect everything that has life, including the animals going to be slaughtered.

He said having disagreements among people is normal, but forgiving is the only way to keep societies developing.

Sheikh Ssali remarked that with mutual trust, communities, and organizations are bound to develop faster than the latter.

Due to the prevailing power struggles at the Uganda Moslem Supreme Council, some top leaders have been accused of selling properties, including land.

This has seen internal fights and breakups, which, according to Sheikh Ssali, is not the right way of developing.

Muslims celebrate Eid al-Adha to honour the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his only son, Ismael, as an act of obedience to Allah.
