KAMPALA - Bottles after bottles drinking till the overdose was the mood in most bars around Kampala at night as revealers were celebrating bar re-opening and night economy.
The mood at night explained it all as Ugandans had long waited for this moment for bars to re-open.

Smiles and joy were witnessed at street food vendors as they could not hide it in front of their eyes, it was a long time coming.
These were operating freely without any fears of curfew or even afraid of police from chasing them.
The few police vehicles that were on the road were only patrolling the entire city, however, this time around they were not arresting any person rather ensuring law and order.
One could easily tell the thirst people had for clubs as they could not hide their excited feelings.
Some bars such as Monalisa at Kabuusu, Levels Kololo, Vox Lounge at Makindye, and fame lounge at Kololo were filled as one could hardly breathe or find where to step.
Kampala walkways were as well decorated with parked cars all over.

Close to two years now the night economy was crippled by COVID-19, Monday was like an independence day for revealers in Kampala as most bars got filled up to capacity.
