KYOTERA - Former Press Secretary to President Yoweri Museveni Joseph Tamale Mirundi has been laid to rest.
Mirundi, who was also a Senior Presidential advisor on media was buried at Matale Kalagala village in Kaliisizo Town Council, Kyotera district on Sunday, August 18, 2024.
Vice President Jessica Alupo represented the President at the burial.
By the spokesperson of the Patriotic League of Uganda for Buganda sub-region,
Mirundi, 60, died on August 13, 2024, of lung-related complications at Kisubi Hospital on Entebbe Road and he was also the spokesperson of the Patriotic League of Uganda for Buganda sub-region.
Hundreds of mourners thronged his ancestral grounds to pay their last respects to Mirundi.
