In Ntoroko district, in western Uganda, residents of Bweramule were left to camp with their property and pets on the Rwamabale-Rwebisengo road, helplessly looking at their houses that had been engulfed by the waters of River Semuliki. Mbale Residdent City Commissioner John Rex Achilla warned the beneficiaries to look out for the conmen and thugs. In Kampala City, the Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Operations Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba on Wednesday joined the Kampala Capital City Authority Executive Director Mrs. Dorothy Kisaka to inspect the state of roads in Uganda’s capital. There has been a recent uproar over the numerous potholes in the city, which have been aggravated by the recent rains.
