JT Jaguars 70 Rockets 57
The Namuwongo Blazers continued their unstoppable form, stretching their unbeaten streak to seven games with a commanding 74-37 victory over the KCCA Panthers on Friday night at YMCA.
From tip-off, the Blazers imposed their will, racing to a 20-13 first-quarter lead before extending their advantage to 41-25 by halftime. Any hopes of a KCCA resurgence were quickly extinguished as Namuwongo's suffocating defense held the Panthers to just 12 second-half points—their lowest-scoring half of the season.

Jimmy Enabu orchestrated the Blazers' dominance with an all-around performance of 12 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists, and 3 steals. "We're excited but staying focused on cleaning up our mistakes to keep improving," Enabu said. "The team's energy is really positive right now, and that support is crucial."
He received strong support from Moses Mugisha (10 points, 2 steals), Joel Lukoji (9 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals), and Okello James (12 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists). Meanwhile, the Panthers—previously on a four-game winning streak—looked out of sync throughout the contest.

The loss drops KCCA to a 4-1 record ahead of their Monday clash with the City Oilers, while the undefeated Blazers (7-0) will face Livingstone the same day at YMCA.
In Friday's other action, the JT Jaguars overpowered the Kampala Rockets 70-57. A dominant 21-7 first-quarter start set the tone, with guard Eboyu Aaron emphasizing defensive improvement post-game: "We didn’t underestimate our opponents, but we know our defense still needs work."
