Northern region dominated the Inter-Region Darts Championship, winning the women, youth, singles men and the overall category.
Northern accumulated 177 points to defend the title they claimed from the Eastern region in 2023.
The tournament played on a round robin format attracted all the five regions including Buganda, Eastern, West Nile, Western and winners from Northern.
Northern team captain David Komakech lived by example winning all his games including the singles final against teammate Patrick Opolot whom he beat 2-1 in a final.

He attributed the victory to discipline and good team management.
“We have over 200 good players, but to be on the team however good you are, you must be disciplined. No alcohol drinking during the games and if you are drunk, we will drop you,” Komaketch added.
“We also have a good management team that motivates the players and approaches the games with high fighting spirits," he added.
The Northern region has won the title a record 11 times since its inception in the mid-90s.

They won it consecutively 10 times and lost it to Eastern in 2017 but bounced back to win it last year and this year.
Uganda Darts Association secretary David Tabaro commended all the teams that turned up for the tournament and urged them to continue growing the sport at the grassroots.
