South African football giants Mamelodi Sundowns began their African tour in Uganda, the home country of legendary goalkeeper Denis Onyango, with a friendship and football clinic at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo, on Saturday, March 22, 2025.

In an official statement, the club emphasized the purpose of the initiative, stating, “Through friendship and football clinics, our goal is to give back to football-loving nations across the continent.”
