A team of 20 players has been summoned for non-residential training ahead of the Vitality Netball Series set for February in England.
The team will be coached by 2015 World Cup coach Rashid Mubiru and former She Cranes star Ruth Meeme in the four-team series.
“I have been hired to take charge of the team on a part-time basis, and since the team has just over two and a half weeks to prepare, we have to get to work. I have experience coaching from high school, club sides, and the national team. Some of the best players have gone through my hands, so I believe I am up for it,” said Mubiru.

Many familiar faces have been called back, including Stella Oyella and Sylvia Nanyonga. The team also includes UK-based Mary Nuba and Falidah Kadondi.
They started training on Monday but will now switch to the Lugogo Arena to finalize their preparations.
