Eldrine Komakech,  a Ugandan footballer in West Africa sounded the warning during his visit to Bbuto Sports Academy during the Champion United U12 FUTSAL holidaymakers’ tournament.

Youth have been warned against using drugs at school as this would lead to imprisonment and the end of their education journey.

Eldrine Komakech,  a Ugandan footballer in West Africa sounded the warning during his visit to Bbuto Sports Academy during the Champion United U12 FUTSAL tournament.

The tournament attracted over 10 teams with Mukono Camps were declared winners, while Bbuto Sports Academy finished 1st runners up and Springs Junior finished as 2nd runners up.

“When you start taking drugs at this tender age, the community is going to disown you and you will not be useful citizens but end up in prison after committing crimes because you want to earn a living," said Komakech.

He added that with discipline, you get everything in life and dine with famous people you never dreamt of meeting.

Jerome Mpalanyi, the head coach and CEO of the Bbuto Sports Academy said such tournaments are organized to unite youths in the community.

“Football plays a vibrant role in nurturing the mental well-being among people most especially youths. It also teaches them life skills like teamwork, communication, leadership, and time management which cannot be passed on during their class participation but tthrough training and later put in practice in their daily lives”.
