The Cherubim Chamber Chorale has again pulled off another successful concert.
The exciting show, Fides, Spes et Amor (Latin for Faith, Hope and Love) took place at the Uganda National Cultural Centre in Kampala on Sunday, July 30, 2023.
The Catholic-based youthful choral ensemble attained success in terms of audience, size and performance.
Accompanied by the talented organist, Fr. Joseph Bakka, the Cherubim Choristers performed modernised renditions of Christian hymns from the western world further to the hymns by local composers such as Fr. Dr. James Kabuye, Fr. Dr. Joseph Namukangula, just to mention a few.

They also performed songs by songs by secular artistes, such as Sheebah Karungi’s Mukama Yamba, Elly Wamala’s Ani Yali Amanyi. They further performed songs by the popular gospel music maestros from West Africa, such as James Varrick Armaah.
The beauty of the concert was greatly elevated by the ecstatic performance of guitarist Aloysius Migadde and saxophone maestro Happy Kyazze who wowed the audience with their hits, Mbeli and Jangu Gyendi (come to me), respectively.
The concert also featured the children's choir from Melange International Music Foundation. The music director of the Cherubim Choir, Jude Luwaga, also performed a song.
The performance of the Cherubim Choir was so captivating that by the end of the four-hour-long show, the fans, who filled up the auditorium, still yearned for more.
