The second, but first physical edition of the Homes & Construction Expo 23 is slated to take place on November 25 and 26 a Kololo airstrip. Under the theme, Innovation, Standards and Opportunities it is expected to unveil new modern trends, opportunities in energy solutions, construction, interior décor, as well as related services available on the market. Graniaus Nasasira, an interior designer and exhibitor at the event, adds that they are ready to offer clients tips on home furnishing, finishing, designs and interior furnishing at the expo.

Build client base

As expo goers visit the different stalls in search of different products on display, exhibitors will have the chance to build their clientele base, thus growing their real-estate businesses. Pascal Ssuna, the CEO of Trendcrete says who have a stall at the expo, says there will be a lot to learn from top industry performers. “Such platforms offer an opportunity for executive-level business people to see what their competition has been up to lately. Therefore, representatives from one company can potentially learn a lot from simply observing the displays of the other companies available at the expo,” Ssuna says.

Clearance festive season sales

As the year comes to an end, companies give back to their clients for supporting them by offering items on discounted prices. As people come for the expo, there is an opportunity to network. Having different companies exhibiting products for sale and representatives on hand to answer questions is something worth experiencing. During the exhibition, attendees tend to buy things they would not easily find within their daily reach, and for those with some money to spend, this is a perfect opportunity to grab the latest item on the market at a relatively fair price.

Meeting major brands

Graniaus Nasasira from Granite Interiors in Kyaliwajjala says he is happy to be an exhibitor at this year’s expo. According to him, attending such exhibitions is an opportunity to meet big brands in the same industry that may seem intimidating from a distance. “Open shows like the Homes & Construction expo bridge the gap as well as offer one-on-one marketing opportunities.  They are also perfect chances for consumers to close the gap between themselves and those companies,” he says.

Direct selling opportunities

Dennis Mwebase, an exhibitor at the expo showcasing Chloride Excide batteries says the company plans to use the opportunity to sell their products directly to their target market. “The people who attend these shows are there for a specific reason, with some looking to purchase while others are investing,” he says. The Homes and construction expo is ideal for potential homeowners and those interested in investing in the real estate sector. Visitors to the event will part with only sh10,000, which will guarantee them access to free panel discussions and workshops about all things homes and construction.
