There was glamour at the installation of presidents for Rotary Club of Mbarara and Rotary Club of Mbarara Ranchers that happened over the weekend.
The Rotary club of Mbarara ranchers held its fouth presidential installation at Las Vegas Hotel in Mbarara city and members were clad in all-white attires.
Rotarian Angella Ainomugizi was installed as the fourth president of the Rotary Club of Mbarara Ranchers after Dr. Richard Atuhairwe who was the third president.
The event was graced by Wilson Ampumwize, the managing director of Country Cinema, who donated sh8.7m to the club’s project at Kamatarisi Primary school, where they are renovating classroom blocks and setting up a library to provide learners with textbooks.
Later, members were entertained by rib cracking jokes from Patrick Salvador till late in the night.

Whereas, the Rotary Club of Mbarara,which is the oldest club in southwestern Uganda held its 40th presidential installation at Children Peace Park Rotary House in Kiyanja, cell in Mbarara city.
Ishmael Mitooma was installed as the 40th president for the year 2024/2025 after Don Douglus Mugyenyi who was the 39th president.
The event was graced by Past District Governor (D9211) Keneth Wyclife Mugisha.
At the installation, a number of Rotarians received Paul Harris Fellow pins in recognition for having donated over $1,000 (about sh4m) to the Rotary foundation.
Paul Harris Fellow in the founder of Rotary in the world and started it with the Rotary club of Chicago in 1905.
