He expounded further on his multi-million shilling storeyed house under construction that went viral on social media. “I am not in a rush to finish construction because it’s not like I am homeless or that I am renting. I will see what do about the house after construction is complete. I may even sell it off and construct another house. I have got a lot of other houses in Munyonyo so I am in no rush," Gravity said.

While many musicians have attributed their achievements to businesses such as farming and the like, rapper Gravity Omutujju says every single achievement he has had, has come from his musical connections.

On June 11, during a one-on-one interview with BukeddeTV2’s Vibe Mix show, he said he started his career amid mockery that he did not have talent and would not make it.

"I decided to work hard and prove my detractors wrong. I concentrated on producing hit songs which made me a famous person," Gravity (Gereson Wabuyi) said.

He said he then started working on the business side of the music.

"Yes, I am not talented, but I now make more money from music than the so-called artistes of the generation. I do not make money only on stage, but I have deals in the Government. I do sensitisation about the Government’s new projects and programmes such as the agriculture expo in Luwero, where I was paid  sh30m per show. I did it all over Uganda and it's done once every year. I have a five-year contract with the Government," Gravity revealed.

The 31-year-old said he is one of the most booked artistes in the country because he has no qualms performing in any place.

"Many artistes have a lot of dos and don’ts regarding  shows. Personally, I cannot chase away money. I can go deep in the villages and sing for my fans. My fan is my boss and I am a businessman. I understand the power of money," Gravity said.

He further boasted that he drives expensive cars with "private number plates, which I bought by myself without the help of any person."

"Many used to think I am a politician, which is not true. I am a businessman. Walking the path to success is full of ups and downs, but getting to the top is by the grace of God," Gravity said. .
