Guests celebrate love at 'Valentine Love Fete'

Lovers, the single and contented and those seeking love flocked to Das Berliner Hotel, Bulenga along Mityana road for the Valentine Love Fete on Wednesday, February 14, 2024.

In an interview, the lovers said they were celebrating their dear ones, those searching said they had come to try their luck in love. The singles said they come to enjoy themselves.

There were also prizes to be won. The best dressed couple won a night at the hotel. Some guests won cash after answering questions regarding the different sponsors. For someone who only paid sh10,000 entrance fee and won, they surely got a good return on their money.

Different couples were seen wearing similar clothes as a way of showing their commitment to each other, with many of them in the red and black colours associated with Valentine's Day.

Ssenga and Kojja teachings by Kojja Kimbowa and Kevin also taught guests ways to handle love affairs before a chance was given to the upcoming artistes to also showcase their  talent.

Despite the big guns in music - Eddy Kenzo, Spice Diana and Vyroota - coming late due to the other shows they were peforming at, the revellers were not upset.

It was Kenzo who excited the crowd the most with his great music, Vyroota's love songs also received a great reception from the audience.

Spice Diana who also had a great perfomance continued to show her humility when she  knelt down and thanking an old woman who gave her some cash. Spice couldn't leave the stage without doing what she does best which is giving to the fans. She gave out some money to a young fan who perfomed along her the Siri Regular song.
