📷 Nambazira, Kisitu crowned Miss and Mr Bukedde, each wins sh10m

KAMPALA - The results are finally in, and the winners of Miss and Mr Bukedde 2023 are Vivian Nambazira (Miss Bukedde) and Edward Kisitu (Mr Bukedde).

Nambazira and Kisitu’s win earned them sh10m and a land title, each.

The win came after fierce competition from six competitors, who had initially been ten at the finals that were held Sunday at Theatre La Bonita in the city centre.

 Also broadcast live on Vision Group’s Bukedde TV1 and TV2, the mesmerizing talented now Miss and Mr Bukedde earned the most votes during the highly-anticipated finale.

The runners-up were Gloria Mugoya and Precious Ahimbisibwe who walked away with sh5m each.

The judges were Robinah Sanyu Mweruka, the Agataliiko Nfuufu news anchor, Robert Segawa and Joseph Batte, the music analyst who was assisted by guest judges and also musicians namely Bebe Cool and Irene Namatovu.

The red-carpet event was hosted by Bruno Betty and Leila Ndagire.

Awarding the winners, Vision Group Chief Executive Officer, Don Wanyama thanked the sponsors Miss and Mr Bukedde, the organisers, and his staff, saying “Glad we are discovering such talent and offering them a stage to shine.”

He urged those who didn’t win to use the platform Vision Group had given them to develop and take their talents to the next level.
