Western Uganda’s gospel music sensation Peace Mbabazi Kyamukongwire has promised to deliver an all-time classic show during her Rukundo Egumeho Family Day Out Concert slated to take place at Kampala Serena Hotel.

While addressing the press during the launch of her concert on Wednesday, Kyamukongwire said that the concert will double as her 19th anniversary as a professional musician. The show will take place on November 10.

"People have increasingly embraced gospel music because it is like food and medicine. It fulfils and heals," said Mbabazi during the press conference. "Come with all the family members because my music is suitable for all," she said. It is why she has themed it as a family day out.

She stated that gospel music heals broken hearts and reconciles families. It is on that count that she encouraged lovers to attend her concert to rekindle their relationships.

There was a ripple of laughter when she made fun of her height. Short in stature, she compared herself to the Biblical Zacchaeus. She said that short people stand tall on the brilliancy scale so those who will turn up for the show should expect a "tall performance" of gospel music.

She thanked her husband Jackson Ashaba, who doubles as her manager, for providing a conducive working environment that enables her to develop her talent.

Ashaba said they are rehearsing around the clock to ensure that Mbabazi delivers the very best performance.

The show will also feature other gospel artiste like Rev. Fr. Anthony Musaala and Herbert Twina and is sponsored by New Vision. Tickets will go for sh50,000, sh100,000 (VIP) and a table for sh1.5m.
