Presidents Hassan Sheikh Mohamud (Somalia), William Ruto (Kenya) and Èvariste Ndayishimiye (Burundi) returned to their respective countries after attending the African Union Extraordinary Summit on Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP) in Uganda.
The three-day summit started on Thursday (January 9) and closed on Saturday (January 11) at Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort in Uganda's capital Kampala.
At Entebbe International Airport, the three residents were seen off by the Minister for Presidency, Babirye Milly Babalanda, Uganda’s Ambassador to Sudan, Dr Yahya Ssemuddu, and the Director Human Resource Management, Air Force, Brig. Gen. Richard Rubongoya.
Uganda Police’s CP Jamal Basalirwa and Hillary Bisanga, Director Human Resource Management, Uganda Prisons Service, were the other officials also present to see off the visiting leaders.
