WAKISO - President Yoweri Museveni on Monday, March 24, hosted Sheikh Shakhboot Nahyan Al Nahyan, the UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, at State House Entebbe.
Their discussions, according to a release by State House, covered bilateral cooperation, regional dynamics, and global issues.

Uganda and the UAE have recently signed agreements to advance investment in Uganda’s railway infrastructure, construct an international airport near Kidepo Valley National Park, and establish the Emirates Eye Hospital in Entebbe.

The UAE delegation included Ambassador Abdalla Hassan Obaid Alshamsi, while Uganda was represented by foreign affairs minister Okello Oryem, Attorney General Kiryowa Kiwanuka, and foreign affairs permanent secretary Vincent Bagiire.
