The installation was presided over by Past District Governor (PDG) John Magezi Ndamira, who applauded the Rotary tradition of annual leadership transition.
“One of the best practices of Rotary is changing leadership annually. It provides an opportunity for the leadership to work on the milestones very fast before the year ends,” said PDG Magezi.
He attributed the club’s success in its maiden year to this model, noting, “I hope this is the reason why Charter President Ronald Ngobya and his leadership achieved all these milestones and the many service projects in Kanyanya and Kiteezi in the first year. So as we install you as the 2nd president, we encourage you to work hard so the club grows more and your certificate is not recalled during your term.”
