Sino-Uganda Mbale Industrial Park trade show kicks off

This is the first trade show at the Mbale city-based Sino-Uganda Mbale Industrial Park. The trade show has seen several factories based in the park showcase their products.

Vice-President Jessica Alupo has Friday officially opened the two-day Sino-Uganda Mbale Industrial Park Buy Uganda Build Uganda trade show.

This is the first trade show at the Mbale city-based Sino-Uganda Mbale Industrial Park. The trade show has seen several factories based in the park showcase their products.

The free entry trade show dubbed BUBU Trade Show and Bazaar is in conjunction with the finance ministry.

Over 40 factories, including food processing, building, textiles, construction, car parts and electronic manufacturers and engineering companies, are displaying their products at discounted prices.

Residents and several other dignitaries are at the show.

The trade show, held in conjunction with the finance ministry, provides a platform for local businesses to connect with potential customers and promote economic growth.

The Sino-Uganda Mbale Industrial Park, a symbol of Uganda-China cooperation, aims to strengthen economic ties and create opportunities for Ugandan entrepreneurs. The park's advantages include favourable business policies, infrastructure support and access to Chinese markets.
