FIRE INCIDENT
A raging fire swept through several roadside facilities in Ntinda, Kampala Tuesday night, leaving a trail of destruction. The cause of the fire that broke out near a power substation was not immediately known. Footage seen by New Vision showed onlookers standing by helplessly from a safe distance as black plumes of smoke rose into the night sky. Some captured the moments on phone, with some footage showing a Police firefighting truck arriving at the scene. The Police have yet to release an official statement on the incident. A motorist who drove by at the time captured the moments and shared with us the video below:
