Women’s National Basketball League on Wednesday 4th saw  Miracle Eaglets, UPDF Lady Tomahawks, and Magic Stormers all scoring big wins.

The Miracle Eaglets dominated Angels, finishing with a 75–31 score.

They took control early, leading 35–19 at halftime. Brenda Alyano scored 20 points, Mariam Namukwaya had 18, and Alice Isoto grabbed a double-double with 10 points and 15 rebounds. In the second game, the UPDF Lady Tomahawks made a comeback to beat Nabisunsa 77–71. 

Nabisunsa led 36–31 at halftime, but UPDF turned it around in the last quarter. Stella Marris stood out with 30 points and 12 rebounds, while Christine Namyalo added 13 points.

Auma Joy and Mpoza Abigail each contributed 18 points for Nabisunsa.

The last game of the night saw Magic Stormers hold off Nkumba Lady Marines 74–67. The Stormers were ahead 35–30 at halftime and managed to maintain their lead. 

Daphine Adong delivered an impressive performance with 18 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 steals.

Mellisa Kyazze was a force on the boards with 23 points and 16 rebounds, while Mary Hazel Ssengendo also had a double-double for Nkumba with 16 points and 16 rebounds.
