Mpiya Juff grabbed a game-high 16 points as the Kampala Rockets defeated National Basketball League champions City Oilers 53-50 yesterday at Lugogo.

The Rockets, who held the Oilers to eight points and nine points respectively, also had 11 points from Brian Opio.
The Oilers were on a three-game winning streak, but with Fayed Bbaale held to eight points in 30 minutes, going 3-for-13 from the field, the champions dropped their fifth game of the season.
Edgar Munaba was the only Oiler with double figures, netting 16 points to go along with 10 rebounds.
The 6-4 Rockets moved to fifth in the standings, while the ailing Oilers (4-5) fell to ninth.
