JIPRA v Jinja SS at Kakindu stadium

For the 13th consecutive year, Jinja Progressive (JIPRA) and Jinja Senior Secondary school (Jinja SS) will renew their rivalry in Tuesday's Jinja Senior Secondary Schools finals.

This was after both teams made light work of their opponents in the quarter and semifinals on Thursday.

After beating Lubani SS 4-0 thanks to a hattrick from James Jalieko and Richard Okello strike, JIPRA saw off their sister school Lakeside SS Masese 4-2 thanks to a brace from Richard Okello and a goal each from Innocent Rothomio and Ivan Nakalanda.

Mohammed Kakaire had handed given JIPRA an early first-half scare with a brace to level the score at 2-2, only for a brace from Richard Okello to settle the score for JIPRA with a 4-2 at Bugembe stadium.

Meanwhile, Sharif Kaffu and Lawrence Owitti scored as holders Jinja SSS and silenced Jinja Comprehensive SS with a  2-0 win in the other semi-final.

Meanwhile, all semi-finalists will represent Jinja district in the regional qualifiers in Iganga.
