KCCA FC suffered defeat in the Uganda Premier League as they were beaten 2-1 by Express at Lugogo Stadium.
The Lugogo side has already lost to the Maroons (2-1) and BUL (1-0) in their last two games.
Express took the lead through Derrick Ngobi's header but KCCA levelled matters through Muhammad Shaban as the first half ended in a 1-1 draw.
In the second half, KCCA tried to bounce back with several scoring chances but they still failed to find the back of the net including substitute Etienne Katenge's effort that hit the crossbar.
The Red Eagles managed to take a lead through Isaac Wagoina's header late in the game to walk away with three points.
KCCA FC coach Sergio Traguil blamed his players for defeat.
"We made silly mistakes that cost us the game. Of course, there is pressure because team is not winning," noted Traguil
However, Express coach James Odoch hailed the character of his players.
"We tried to live up to the task. I know it was not easy but we showed character that we would win the match which we did. This is a big motivation going to our next games," noted Odoch.
