Thursday's Jinja derby

BUL FC v Busoga United FC, Njeru Technical Centre, 4pm

Despite their recent 3-2 win over Startimes Uganda Premier League rivals Vipers FC, BUL FC's tactician Abbey Bogere Kikomeko expects his side to be cautious against Busoga United FC in Thursday's mouthwatering Jinja derby at FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru.

BUL are top of the league with 30 points with a three-goal advantage.

"It's going to be a tough game because both teams know each other. Almost 80 percent of the BUL FC squad including me came from there, so we must be cautious knowing that Busoga United FC is equally a top side. We want three points and nothing less. We know that when we slip, Vipers FC will take advantage," said Kikomeko.

BUL FC forward, Joel Madondo formerly a Busoga United FC player, warned that his teammates are more motivated for the derby.

Meanwhile, Busoga United FC head coach Vincent Lukyamuzi disclosed that his team will head into Thursday's match aiming for a win against their bitter neighbours.

"We know they want the title and they are in rampant form, but we do want three points to improve our position in the league. It will be a battle of fewer mistakes from both sides ", said the Germany-trained tactician Lukyamuzi.

BUL FC will be welcoming back tough tackling central defender Walter Ochora who is coming back from a two-match suspension.
