National Pool Open resumes Saturday

The Nile Special National Pool Open will return to action this weekend as a host of players are expected to start taking their turns at various venues.

Players are starting to flock to venues and for the Pool Association of Uganda that is the sound of success.

“The competition is going on fine and the players are coming in and the sponsors we believe are also making sales,” stated Pool Association of Uganda tournament secretary Donald Ampumuza.

Six to Six in Kansanga, Koma Garden in Matugga and Ambius Guest House in Wobulenzi are all set to host players on Saturday.

In Western Uganda, New Labamba in Kisoro, Spencers Bar in Mbarara and New Choice Bar in Masindi are some of the venues that will be in action.

On Saturday, Buddies in Arua will be one of the venues in Northern Uganda hosting action alongside the Hive Bar in Lira among other venues. Waga Lounge in Moroto will serve those in the North East while Super Guest House in Busia will also receive players.

“This weekend we tried to balance venues both upcountry and in the city. This way, we expect numbers to go high all over the country,” he explained.
