“It is a great honor to be part of this year’s Kabaka Birthday Run. We hold the theme ‘Men for Good Health to Save the Girl Child’ in high esteem and are committed to amplifying its message,” Tamale said while presenting the sponsorship deal to the First Deputy Prime Minister of Buganda Kingdom, Twaha Kawaase.

The Sh100 million sponsorship will be allocated to airtime and print space to promote the run and its cause. Scheduled for April 6, the event will start at 6:00 AM from Lubiri, Mengo, and will be flagged off by Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II.

Kawaase commended Vision Group for its consistent support of Buganda Kingdom’s initiatives and welcomed the partnership.

“Vision Group has always played a pivotal role in supporting Buganda Kingdom’s campaigns. This collaboration is an excellent opportunity for both parties to strengthen efforts in eradicating HIV/AIDS from Uganda by 2030, with men leading the charge,” Kawaase stated.

During the event, Vision Group also received 100 run kits, which will be sold at the company’s main reception for Sh20,000 each on behalf of the organizers.
